Hi I’m Chelsea, Founder of Valeria Performance. After nearly a decade working as a mental performance coach, from club sports, junior colleges, division 1 programs, and even the professional level, I saw the same problem everywhere: mental training and nutrition support were either missing or massively underutilized.
Athletes are typically trained to be physically strong, but mental resilience and nutrition training are often overlooked.
Performance is as much mental as it is physical. Proper nutrition fuels both and the lack of training and resources didn’t sit right with me as I grew in my career.
It isn’t just athletes. Doctors, lawyers, performers, high-level professionals, so many brilliant, driven women and girls are being crushed by perfectionism, pressure and burnout without the resources to work through it.
I created Valeria Performance to be the resource I wish existed earlier in my own journey. A space where women and girls can get the tools to strengthen their mindset, fuel their bodies, and reclaim their worth, without sacrificing who they are.

Krysten’s passionate about nutrition that fuels you for peak performance. With a science-driven approach and a deep understanding of the unique physiological needs of women and girls, Krysten helps active individuals optimize energy, recovery, and overall health through personalized nutrition.
Whether she’s creating a fueling station for a D1 locker room or helping a high school athlete overcome fatigue and cramping, Krysten meets each client with a blend of evidence-based guidance and real-world practicality.

The Meaning Behind ‘Valeria’
Valeria is Latin in origin, and it means ‘to be strong, healthy, and worthy.’
It comes from the word ‘valor’ which speaks to bravery and inner strength.
When I think of a ‘Valeria,’ I picture someone like Ilona Maher or Jordan Chiles, walking into the room with unapologetic presence, athleticism, grace, and mental fire. That’s the energy I want every client to feel when they leave a session with me.
